Come to the Surf Open Mic on the 4th Thursday of each month for Museum Music Night, organized by Gary Symons. All tips collected are being donated to support the McRae fundraiser and Museum programs. Each night will include two feature acts, with the rest of the evening running on the usual Open Mic format.
Museum Music Night is launching on Thursday, Mar 27 headlined by the Paul Gellman Band and Susan Phillips.
The Museum Music Nights are being held to raise funds for the Gabriola Museum. The event is free, but instead of having a tip jar for the organizers, we are instead encouraging donations to the Gabriola Museum. Members of the museum board will be on hand to explain the programs this concert series will be supporting.
The night will include two feature acts, with the rest of the evening running on the usual Open Mic format.
Gary plans to hold these events on the fourth Thursday of every month.
