Join us to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day).

10:00 am—Silent walk organized and led by Gabriolan Margaret Blevins. Meet on the Museum grounds.
Visit the Museum Gift Shop and indoor exhibits. Help raise money for the Indigenous Residential School Survivors Society by purchasing a t-shirt (all profits go the IRSSS). Check out our Indigenous book collection.

Noon – 2:00 pm – Visit the resource table inside the Museum. Hosted by the Museum’s Truth & Reconciliation Committee.

All day—A Path for Remembering and Honouring (open all fall) is for silent reflection and contemplation. Small orange flags placed on either side of the pathway represent children, both survivors and those who died, who attended Canada’s residential and day schools.
