This powerful film follows Coast Salish carver Beau Wagner as he honours his late teacher’s wish by carving a canoe on Gabriola Island with Gabriola Elementary School students — a journey that celebrates the revival of Coast Salish canoe culture and deepens respect for Coast Salish knowledge.
