Elder Geraldine Manson will share stories of her personal experiences.
The recently-launched Snuneymuxw Gallery at the Museum features a touch-screen with interview, language information, maps, and stories, with petroglyph rubbings, artifacts, and a whole basket-weaving section featuring a hat made by Elder Dave Bodaly. The exhibit builds on the Ancestral Village installation and reflects the Gabriola Museum’s commitment to reconciliation.
