Gabriola Island

The Museum is developing a Native Plant Trail with interpretive signage and educational materials

Our Native Plant Trail is currently undergoing extensive revitalization.

Over the next two years, the Museum will be developing a Native Plant Trail with interpretive signage and educational materials behind the Museum in the forest.

The trail will be developed with the advice of GaLTT and the interpretive program will include input on native plant names and use from our Snuneymuxw advisors.

Red Flowering Currant

Oregon Grape Holly

Volunteers to help build the trail and work on the interpretive program are welcome.

If you would like to help, please contact the Museum. Stop by, call or fill out the form below.
